Exhibition Skate

On Wednesday the 17th of July, Dance Club held its first Exhibition Skate. The main idea was to get the general public down to the rink and see what ice dancing is all about. Advertisements were placed in various community newspapers and notices put about around the rink, however we didn't quite get ourselves organised in time to update the website. We will next time - promise!!

Whatever the case, the night was a success. Several members who don't skate as much as they used to reappeared to help us demonstrate the compulsory dances as well as various tricks. Thanks to everyone who made the time and effort to come down, including our audience! We hope to see you all there (plus many more) next time, which hopefully will be in the not-too-distant future.

Hyland Trophy 2002

The Hyland Trophy was held on Wednesday May 1st, 2002. All went according to plan except for Michael who outdid us all in the quest for the Ice-tuffed-up award. Congratulations! See Competition Results for all the details.
