Powderbark Matilda Bay
Sire:
Glenormiston Fibber McGee (Connemara pony)
Dam:
Binbrook Leonie (Anglo-Arab)

Matilda Bay was born bay, like both parents, and she is rapidly turning steel grey, like Fibber. She is a very pretty filly with arabian elegance but Connemara substance.  She is friendly and bold and has a lovely thick soft plush coat which she likes people to rub for her.  Matilda Bay has been very successful shown in hand.  She won her class at the 2006 Royal Show where when was shown as a part bred arab, and in 2007 she was second to her half sister, Powderbark McWhinney, when shown as a part bred connemara.  She was champion part bred connemara at the 2009 Hack Council Show and also performed well at the 2007 Night of Stars as part of the connemara display.  Her final achievement for 2007 was winning the part bred connemara Hi Point award.

We are retainng Matilda Bay for our stud and are looking forward to starting her under saddle later this year.

Matilda Bay has the squeakiest neigh of any of our foals, which has earnt her the nickname "Squeakabit"!

Powderbark Rose (Connemara Pony)
Sire: Glenormiston Fibber McGee
Dam: Glenormiston Cloonshee

Powderbark Rose is a pretty filly by Glenormiston Fibber McGee and out of Glenormiston Cloonshee.  Rose is dark bay but will turn grey, like both her parents.  She is energetic and intelligent and VERY cute!

Rose is growing into a sturdy pony with plenty of substance.  At the 2006 Perth Royal Show Rose was third in a class for Connemara fillies three years and under.  She was only six months old at the time, and she behaved perfectly (see her Royal Show photos above)..

Her favourite thing is galloping.  She reminds us of the lines in the R.L. Stevenson poem, "Windy Nights";
"By at the gallop [she] goes, and then
By [she] comes back at the gallop again."

We are retaining Rose for our stud.

Powderbark Aislinn (Connemara pony)
Sire: Glenormiston Fibber McGee
Dam: Glenormiston Adare

Our first foal for 2006 is Aislinn.  She is dark bay and will be grey, like her father, Fibber.  She is a big boned, strong filly.  She is also the first of Fibber's offspring to have a white marking: she has a small white star.

Like Rose, Aislinn loves galloping, but she also specialises in "airs above the ground" i.e. bucks, rears, caprioles and other varied leaps. She is very independent, self-possessed pony.

We are retaining Aislinn for our stud, having sold her half sister, Eireann.

Powderbark Morocco
DOB 3/12/2007 Reg. CPBSA and AHSA
Sire: Glenormiston Fibber McGee
Dam: Lanaryn Sayidah Skye (arab)

Rocky is a gentle, good-looking colt with excellent forward paces and good substance.  He is Fibber's first arabian pony and we are delighted with him. He is slowly turning grey.

We are planning to retain him at our stud to watch how he develops.  He may be for sale at a later date.
