Welcome to my Australian owned shrine and page dedicated to Marik Ishtar and Bakura Ryou from the cartoon series Yu-Gi-Oh. So enjoy the site. Im cramming in as much as I can for you fans out there to enjoy. Keep in mind I only seen up to episode 97 so I have to wait if it ever continues on to see the rest of the series.
Updated 20/7/05: Ok fans the Joey and Mai story is up for reading. Sad part is I missed most of the battle city finals after the virtual arch :( I just caught the tail end of it when Marik leaves. New 2 cosplaying pics ur linked hereYami Bakura 1 / Yami Bakura 2. Im not planning to put anything on here. I did see the Yu-gi-oh movie I admit very good. Some parts were intense. So I say its worth watching it!!!.
Why Bakura and Marik?: These two scream for each others love. Though they are both evil, well partly evil. They worked along side each other without much of a fuss. There a some tender moments in the show where they were near each other. Im sure Bakura was going wild over Marik's motorbike, lavander mid-drif hoodie and black cargo pants. *drools* Marik is one pretty cute guy. Bakura isn't that bad looking either. I know there are a lot of fans who love this pair out there. As for sites for them well there isnt a lot of them though. Well not together. Hmmmmm. Ok as for the site title Shedding the Darkness. It just means that they eventually loose their evil side. Doesn't mean that they spread evil or remain evil. They are both good guys that just happened to be harboring ancient evil millennium spirits. I can understand that Mariks voice is bad and Bakura's is ok to listen too. It would been better if Marik's didnt sound so crap in the dub series. They sound very british. Couldn't they find some Egyptain sounding voices cause of the characters background. Hmmmm. Anyway besides their voices the characters are still popular.
Important Note: Even though the initials for this site is STD it doesn't refer anything besides Shedding the Darkness. Iam aware that it could stand for other things but I wont mention that.
