History: First born son into the Ishtar family. Unfortunately his mother died after the birth of him. Marik only had his father, sister and adopted brother to looked after him. Marik so wanted to venture out into the outside world, so he begged Ishizu to take him up there. Even thought its against the tomb keepers rules. That influence Marik too much, he eventually got the ideas of leaving the tomb behind. He wished to escape on a motorcycle after seeing a picture of it in a book. He took back the picture and kept it hidden away. When it was Marik's 10th birthday, his father had taken him away to perform the family ritual of the passing on the Pharaoh's secrets. With a hot knife, his father carved and burned the ancient scriptures into Marik's back. It was in recovery afterwards he completely snapped.

He had enough of living underground and he wanted out. It was then that sparked the evil hatred and the dark spirit inside of him, Yami Marik to be awoken. Yami Marik was once a ancient spirit. The Millennium Rod allows mind control over its victims. The original owner of the Rod was Priest Seto, now Marik has to take care of it. When Marik changes into him he has no control over his actions. Marik entered the tournament under the name Namu. He purposely beaten Bakura up in order to lure Yugi's annoying friends into his trap. Apparently Bakura stabbed himself with the rod. Once Bakura got rid of yugi's grandfather, Marik kidnapped both Joey and Tea. He knew Yugi's friends were easy target and soon got Yugi out in the open. He pretend to be a nice guy, in the real case he was far from it. Eventually during the tournament they realize his true identity. In the end Marik's good side manages to banish the evil Yami from his body to the shadow realm forever.

Name: Bakura Ryou / Yami Bakura Age: 16 Gender: M Family: Unknown Eyes: Chocolate brown Hair: Purple white Height: 5.7 Item: Millennium Ring Occupation: Tomb Robber Possible relationship match: Marik

History: Bakura's has a mysterious past, there isn't anything on his family or where he came from. His good side is friends with Yugi and the others from high school. But his darker side resigns inside the ring which he never parts with. The evil Bakura was a Grave Robber, I have a picture of him right here from the series. This evil Egyptian spirit lives within the Millennium Ring, which counter acts to Bakura's mood. He comes out when Bakura is in need of help to get the Millennium Items. So the Ring's power can effect anyone who touches it. It also acts as a locator to find the other items. At one point Marik and Bakura made a deal, if he get the cards, Bakura can have his Rod. But the deal failed badly. Marik's plan was to have Bakura be injured to pull Yugi's friends into his trap.

It was from there in hospital Yami Bakura attacked Yugi's grandfather, and fled to the battle city tournament. On the way he had to get 5 locator cards. So he challenges Bonez and his friends to a duel in which Yami Bakura won easily. He banished them to the shadow realm. Yami Bakura then got on the blimp and enter the finals. But during the battle between him and Yugi he suffered a serious blow which knocked him out cold. He spent time recovering in his room, Seto refusing to stop the blimp, so his medical team attend to fixing Bakura. Tea was by Bakura's bedside and soon was holding the Ring. The Ring allowed Bakura to control her, also allowed the remaining part of Marik's mind controlling to be activated. It came in handy when Marik's desperate cry from the shadow realm was run through Tea's possess body. This happened after Yami Bakura challenge Yami Marik to a unlisted duel. Yami Marik banishing the pair into the Shadow Realm leaving the Millennium Ring behind. Eventually Bakura is returned back to his normal self, yet the spirit still remains in the Ring.

History: Ishizu was the first born girl into the Ishtar family. Her role was to take care of the Millennium Necklace. Ishizu blames herself for disobeying her family, by taking Marik to the world above ground. It fueled Marik to escape the tomb tunnels. Ishizu is the first person that appears in the series, she accompany the tablets and artifacts for the museum exhibition. I was from there she contacted Seto Kaiba, and requested to meet him. She told him about his past life as a priest and even showed him it through the Necklace's magic. It was from there she asked him to start the battle city tournament in order to save her brother Marik. Then she gave Seto the Obelisk the Tormentor card to use within the tournament against the Rare Hunters. She also entered to help Marik to escape the evil that was caught inside him, also to lure out the Rare Hunters that were working for Marik and retrieve the other 2 god cards. 

Ishizu battled Seto in a match which she predicted she would win with the use of Millennium Necklace. She thought Seto would use the god card to attack her. But it was then the Rod counteracted with Seto's mind and the past flashed before his eyes. Seto ended up using his Blue Eyes White Dragon and won. Ishizu failed, but she now relies on the Pharaoh to defeat the evil Yami Marik. In Ishizu's past life she was a Priestess and worked along side Priest Seto.

Name: Odion / Rishid Age: 24 Gender: M Family: adopted by Ishtar family Eyes: Yellow Hair: Bold with a black hair in a pony tail Height: 6'0 Occupation: Protector of Marik Possible relationship: that's unknown

History: Odion was a orphan founded by Marik's mother. She raised him first before Ishizu and Marik came along. Odion was assigned to protect Marik at all times, since Marik was the next male to carry on the family tradition. Marik had no desires of remaining underground for the rest of his life. Odion tries to take Marik's place but his father didn't accept him. Odion gets the blame whenever Marik was in danger. When the time came for Marik to undergo the ritual, Odion performed one on himself. He showed Marik and told him that he will always remain by his side no matter what happens. It was then Odion became Marik's servant and they left the tunnels and go after Yami Yugi. Marik wanted all 3 god cards for himself, since he knows everything about their powers and secrets. Marik set Odion up as a decoy to throw off the others, giving him a counterfeit version of the Wing Dragon of Ra and a fake Rod. Odion knew he was in danger when he was forced to play the card during the battle with Joey Wheeler. Marik had full trust in Odion. Odion ends up paying the price and blows Marik's cover. Everyone soon realize Namu (Marik). In the end Odion and Ishizu are reunited with the good Marik again.
